First International Tournament Financial literacy
International Financial Literacy Tournament Vienna 2024. The tournament brings together Ukrainian youth who were forced to leave their home country due to the war, but despite all the challenges continue to study hard and acquire new knowledge and skills in financial literacy
"NURTURING FINANCIAL LEADERS"
The tournament is part of the National Financial Literacy Project 2.0, which aims to build a high level of financial culture in Ukrainian society as a guarantee of economic stability and financial security of the Ukrainian state.
Purpose of the Tournament
Consolidating the efforts of governmental and non-governmental organizations in the field of financial education for the preservation and reintegration of Ukrainian citizens as the most valuable resource for the sustainable development of post-war Ukraine.
Tasks of the Tournament:
- Creating a system of international centers for strategic partnership and leadership in financial education
- Familiarization and exchange of experience in financial literacy and education in different countries with the aim of implementing positive experience in Ukraine
- Presentation of innovations in the field of deposit guarantee as one of the key factors in protecting the population's savings and maintaining the stability of the financial system of Ukraine
- Formation of a high financial culture, in particular, a conscious attitude of young people to the direct impact of the level of financial literacy of society on the level of economic security of the country and the world as a whole

Stages of the Tournament
- Presentation of the project "Financial Alphabet of the Country: Basics of Financial Education"
- "Financial Battle" competition based on the financial game "Life Capital"
"Life Capital"
It is a socio-economic reality simulation game for developing and maintaining skills-based financial competence.
This game teaches financial planning and cash flow control, successful resource management in everyday life, teaches the basic laws of money, the basics of investing, and effectively trains 10 of the top 10 skills of the future.
